Proceedings and Special Issue in Sensors and Actuators B

Conference Proceedings

Authors of accepted papers and posters are requested to prepare a manuscript of their contribution for the conference proceedings in English. The manuscript must not exceed four A4 pages, including figures and tables. It is mandatory to use the special template file for the layout. This will be sent directly to to all authors of accepted papers. Manuscripts will be published in the conference proceedings and registered with Digital Object Identifier (DOI).

Special Issue in Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical

All accepted participants are invited to submit a paper for potential publication in a special issue of the journal Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, devoted to the IMCS 2012 Conference. Please note that all manuscripts will be subject to the usual selection process including the peer review procedure. The acceptance for presentation at the conference will not be a guarantee that the paper will also be included in the special issue.

Important: Submissions to the special volume must be clear extended versions (real full papers) of the conference proceedings articles. Only contributions really presented (in oral or poster sessions) will be considered for the special issue, i.e., papers related to accepted contributions but not presented at the conference will be rejected.

There is no page limit for the special volume, but it is important to note that all manuscripts will be subject to the usual selection process including the peer review procedure, therefore acceptance for presentation at the conference is not a guarantee of inclusion in the special issue.

Concerned Authors are kindly invited to submit their article via the journal’s online submission and reviewing system which is accessible at: http://ees.elsevier.com/snb. Below please see instructions for submitting your manuscript:

To submit:

• Go to: http://ees.elsevier.com/snb and click on the "Submit Paper" option from the top menu
• Enter your user name and password (first time users will have to register)
• After entering the title of your manuscript, please select IMCS 2012 as the "Article Type"
• Follow the remaining step-by-step instructions to submit your paper

Points to note:

• Authors will be required to submit the PDF of their Proceedings paper, together with their contribution to SNB for comparison purposes. Papers which are not sufficiently extended will be rejected
• The deadline to submit manuscripts to the IMCS 2012 conference issue of Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical is 15th July 2012
• When preparing manuscripts Authors should carefully follow the journal’s Guide, which can be found on the online submission site http://ees.elsevier.com/snb
• Authors should please mention in the cover letter that the manuscript is intended for the IMCS 2012 special issue
• It is recommended to follow the remaining step-by-step instructions to submit papers
